Hope you guys like the new forums!! I know I sure do!!

Anyways, taking a break for a couple hours, I opened up the remaining boxes from our move last year, and on top of that, have been consigned a few items from local chasers/hobbyists that thought I could help them sell some items here. This list includes those few items still remaining from the previous posts.

Pictures are available upon request.

1.) DeLorme Earthmate Hyperformance GPS unit. This is a great little yellow unit about the size of a wallet, powered by 4 AAA batteries. It is an older serial port unit (they do make adapters to USB these days quite inexpensively). The unit is in perfect working order, and based on my research, is NMEA compatible, and should work with StormLab (or any other mapping software). Asking price $60 OBO (incl. shipping)

2.) Baron's WxWorx Mobile Threatnet unit. A great compatible unit to StormLab (I may keep this myself!), especially when chasing in those rural areas with little to no cell reception. Uses XM radio signal to receive weather data specific to the unit. I just tested this and it works great. Comes with WxWorx unit, antenna, cigarette light power adapter, unused battery terminal to power adapter, USB cable, software and the extra GPS Mapping Upgrade software. If you purchase now, I think he even has a couple weeks of XM subscription left to test it out (still active today obviously).

Asking Price $650 OBO (or $700 with the GPS above), shipping included

3.) Dallas Semiconductor 1-Wire Weather Station Miscellaneous -- See previous post here. Price reduced to $400 OBO (will require some wiring knowledge) http://www.interwarn.com/1wirestation.html

4.) Precision Maximum Maestro-2S Analog Anemometer
http://www.interwarn.com/maximum.html . Price remains $250 OBO.

5.) I have an assortment of hygrothermographs, barographs, pyranometers and other analog equipment I have just unboxed. I'll probably keep most of it, but I do have several duplicates, so if you are a serious collector or antique weather instrumentation, please let me know. I also have a NWS 420-C wind unit, with the only known working gust recorder still in existence. These were the high caliber analog wind systems used all the old NWS offices (and still in use by several as backup units). I think forum member Gary Shuford has dibs on this, but if you're interested, let me know.

OK, that's all for now. Please contact me via PM or email at you know where.

Back to StormLab V4.0 programming. By the way, I haven't heard of a single problem from the V3.2 testers with lockups as of day 3, so I'll likely have an intermediate release out soon.

Take care all!
Evan

Sorry for not updating this (or checking the forums in a while) -- a lot of PMs to reply to :)

Everything has long since been sold except the 1-Wire Dallas Semiconductor parts. I still have a number of fully functional antique instruments like barographs, hygrothermographs, etc...
