Per the message below, I would recommend making sure that you're on server 1 until this work is completed. This is affecting not only radar data, but pretty much anything on the FTP servers (obs, satellite, model data, etc...) for those of you who use this for other means.

The ftp://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov anonymous FTP server is currently experiencing problems
with data access in the /SL.us008001 directory. All other directories on that server
are currently working correctly.
An alternative means of access to the same data is via the HTTP server:
http://weather.noaa.gov/pub
This URL provides access to the same location as the anonymous FTP server.
Family Of Services servers are currently operating with no access problems.
NWSTG staff continues to work with hardware vendors to resolve the issue. There
is no ETA for correction at this time.
