Unit is still brand new wrapped -- was just released last week. I have no idea if data can be output for use in another software program, but I think this still qualifies under this forum as a navigation tool used for storm chasing. This appears to be identical to my Garmin Nuvi (maybe even same manufacturer, but several hundred dollars cheaper). Directions are spoken (instead of just onscreen), can play mp3s, photos, etc...
