View Full Version : [SOLVED] 12/24 InterWARN Crashing (Caused by Map Change)

In an effort to improve the accuracy of the InterWARN map, I inadvertantly uploaded a file that InterWARN cannot decode. While this was only up there for a minute, if you had the map loaded and experienced a "shutdown" error just before 2PM CST, please delete the ActiveWWA.txt in the InterWARN\Temp folder to repair the problem. Otherwise, you will continue to get the same shutdown error while attempting to view the map.
Thank you for your patience.

Just an FYI, work on the map has been complete (wow that took way too long, but I was able to completely remove an older program from the system that was generating those!)
Thankfully no more casualties occurred along the way!
The map should now be correct across the Plains with the correct hierarchy now that I've implemented a better VTEC strategy. While I was in there, I also added polygons for some other marine/flood products.

If you sale, I see this great program going away. I think the GR people would love that. Anyway, I too, was having crash (program stopped working) problems that other people were reporting. Copies of windows vista report log sent. Interwarn temp folder was empty. Thank you for all the hard work that you do. Please don't give up. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year (with no more programing problems :D)

David,
You read wayyyyyyyyyy too far into my Christmas wishes. I bet if someone offered you well into the 7 figures so you could spend more time with your family, I doubt many would reject that. I know we have a great thing going here, which is why I pour over the PC for hours a day :)
Looking forward to a great 2010.
