I checked one of these out. Certainly cost effective, but two primary flaws I found:
1.) Lack of a fan aspirator, which will create too high temperature/dewpoint readings 2.) Anenometer sited with the rest of the instrumentation. It is negatively affected by low elevation (assuming you're putting your instrumentation at the proper 6 ft height) and obstruction from the other instruments/poles. Wind speed/direction should be sited above your roof top for accurate measurements. Evan
